Our range of ESD chairs and stools are designed and manufactured specifically for use in the electronics and electrical industry. These chairs prevent the build-up of static electricity by dissipating any static charges directly to earth via a conductive wheel or glide. All our ESD chairs and stools conform EN 61340-5-1:2001 European Standard and suitable for use in static controlled environments.

Non-ESD chairs are available on request and are made to the same exacting standards but have no electrical properties – these have normal cloth fabrics and insulated wheels or glides.

GLIDES – These are basic ‘feet’ that do not roll and make the chair stationary

CASTORS – These are normal rotating wheels to enable full movement of the chair

WEIGHT BRAKING CASTORS – These are sprung castors that ‘lock’ when seated and move again when standing)
