Ecotile 500/7/ESD electrostatic dissipative (ESD/EPA) interlocking floor tiles are ideal for use in any electronics assembly area and computer server rooms and can be used as your primary ground. They are guaranteed to give ESD performance for the life of the tile. The tiles can be laid quickly on most surfaces and the beauty is that they can be lifted at any time.
These tiles can also be fitted in production plants such as pharmaceutical, paint, petrochemical and certain food production facilities where there is a risk of dust explosions.
These tiles are extremely hard wearing, have good anti-slip properties and are very versitile. As they require no adhesive they can be easily lifted up and moved if need be. Combine this with the interlocking system, the floor can easily be added to, reshaped, repositioned and adpated to suit your needs.
A perfect example of this is repurposing work areas. Often designated ESD areas will be divided by walkways. If you areas change then these walkways can be moved and relaid will minimul fuss to the new desired position.
The 500/7ESD tiles are 7mm thickness and are idea for many applications. The tiles are well suited to many levels of use from light foot traffic to heavier traffic areas that will include equipement such as pallet trucks or fork lift trucks.
Ecotile 500/7/ESD are manufactured from an injection moulded, tough PVC compound incorporating millions of tiny stainless steel metal fibres. Ecotile has excellent wear characteristics and good chemical resistance. These tiles can be laid directly over rough, damp, uneven or contaiminated substrates and floors.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please be aware that the stainless steel fibres may be visible on the surface of the tile, this is unavoidable and a fundamental part of the manufacturing process that ensures optimum ESD performance.
