SHIPPING INFORMATION
At VODEX, we use a selection of different couriers, depending on what item(s) have been ordered and customer location, so we can provide our customers with the best service/cheapest prices.
For UK Mainland and NI customers we generally ship with Royal Mail for smaller items and DPD or DHL for Larger Items.
For Countries outside of Mainland UK, we also use UPS or FedEx.
We are a small and continuously growing, family run business… However, we are not Amazon.
When we receive your order, if the item is in stock, we will strive to ship the same working day. However, if we have been fortunate enough to of had an influx of orders (we pack and dispatch orders in the order that they are received), it may mean that your order doesn’t get dispatched until the next working day.
To note when shipping via Royal Mail they charge an additional 30p for collection, the price you pay online already includes this additional 30p charge, however, the extra 30p is not stated on the shipping label attached to your order. For example, you may of paid £3.95 online, but the label may only state £3.65, but the 30p difference is Royal Mail’s collection fee.
As of June 2026, Royal Mail have re-named their services from 24hr Tracked & 48hr Tracked to One Day+ and Two Day+ Tracked Services. One Day+ “aims” to deliver the next working day, but has a caveat of 1-2 working days. Two Day+ “aims” to deliver within 2-3 working days.
As soon as your order has been scanned and collected by one of the couriers, you should receive tracking information, either by text, email or both. It is then out of our control if any delays occur during transit.
If you are outside of Mainland UK, Custom Duty Fee’s/Local Taxes may be applicable before your order can be delivered to you. The courier will contact you directly to obtain this fee, if required. VODEX unfortunately cannot provide any information regarding Local Taxes or Custom Fees prior to order/delivery, you will have to find the information on your governments website, or contact them directly. You will however need the product name and what it is, plus the purchase price for them to be able to quote you for any likely additional fees.
If your order is urgent, please call us prior to placing your order to see if we are able to ship the same day for you.
