Our Fume cupboard enclosures – small to medium bench top designs – that are not only economical, but can be applied to control toxic or obnoxious materials. 100% Polypropylene, these fume cabinets are resisitant to almost every chemical encountered.
Polypropylene has unique chemical resistance and can withstand temperatures up to 120 degrees C. Impact resistance is extremely high making them virtually unbreakable. Fully tested, MADE IN THE UK, CE and HSE COSHH Compliant !

For hydrochloric, sulphuric acid or aggressive chemicals we recommend fitting the PVC fan option which have PVC blades and higher output – see below or call for more advice.

Chemicals commonly in use:
Solvents: Containing Xylene, Acetone, Trichloreethylene and many other solvents classified as IRRITANTS and classed as harful to health. Some are classified as carciogenic.
Mineral Acids: Sulphuric, Nitric, Hydrochloric and Hydroflouric, classifies as CORROSIVE, and dangerous to inhale – can cause ashtma.
Alkalis: Ammonia Liquor, Sodium Hydroxide used in many cleaning processes and classified as CORROSIVE, causes inflammation and damage to the respiratory system.
Poisons: Cyanides, classified as VERY TOXIC and will cause death
