Vodex are pleased to launch the salon guard – a mobile fume extraction unit for hair salons. The salon guard is new and improved and replaces the old BKT model. The salon guard removes harmful fumes in salons which are created from hair smoothing, perming, colouring, bleaching and other similar hair treatments.
It is well documented that individuals and clients may already be sensitive or can suddenly become sensitive to the fumes from hair treatments. Hair salons can deal with these fumes by removing the offending treatments – but you would go out of business pretty fast!! The other solution is to capture fumes at the source via an efficient filtration/extraction system.
The salon guard is a fully mobile unit and has a low noise level (less than that of a hair dryer). The salon guard can be positioned to capture and filter fumes via the clear hood long before your lungs do.
