Donaldson BOFA FumeCAB 1000 iQ is a dedicated fume cabinet suitable for a wide range of applications, such as adhesive applications, potting compounds, powder weighing, light adhesive spraying, soldering, rework and even conformal coating. The enclosed work space protects the operator from the harmful vapours that can be thrown around by applications such as conformal coating, dipping etc.

A special Methyl Ethyl Ketone (MEK) filter is recommended if using ketones such as Acetone, to avoid any chemical reaction and heat build-up in the filter. If needed, a UV light can be installed along side the units standard bright LED strip light. With access plugs either side to allow for equipment cables and hoses, the BOFA FumeCAB 1000iQ is a great asset to anyone looking for COSHH compliance to HSG258 (controlling airborne contaminants in the work place).

BOFA’s iQ Operating System allows for complete user control with real time airflow readings and filter monitoring. The inbuilt Automatic Airflow Control feature ensures the extracted airflow is maintained at a constant rate if the front sash is opened or as the filters saturate. The ultra-bright, slimline energy saving LED lights come as standard making this system an ideal choice for fume and vapour extraction for a wide variety of applications.
