HSG258 Guidance requires airflow indicators to be installed on ducted LEV systems. Our range of analogue manometers with a vacuum range between 750 and 2500 Pascals are ideal for this task. Section 106 states: “ Employers need to ensure that LEV systems continue to work properly. There are several ways of checking this, such as using an anemometer, dust lamp or smoke tracer – with the work process running. But the simplest way is probably to use an airflow indicator. This will give the operator a simple indication that the hood/LEV is working properly. It becomes critical when the operator has to adjust a damper to get adequate airflow. The airflow indicator must indicate simply and clearly when the airflow is adequate. The simplest indicator is usually a manometer “
Simply choose the pressure range for the drop down menu below and order one AIK install kit for each gauge. Install Kit consists of 250mm silicon tube and ducting connector (as shown in picture opposite)
