Once the nominees are selected, they are given the opportunity to formally accept the nomination. The companies are free to decline at this point, but if they do accept, they can provide more details about their organisation to support their nomination.
This submission is not mandatory, as the judging panel also refers to the publicly accessible sources and the industry reputation of the company. They select the winners based on a list of criteria, that includes:

- Innovation
- Business growth
- The age of the company
- Its reputation online
- Feedback from customers
