The VODEX FC5 Basic Ductless Fume Cupboards range is a series of low-cost fume cabinets that offer superb containment at a great price. The FC5’s are idea for low volume fume extraction and fine dust extraction in the work place. The Vodex FC5 models are all ductless fume cupboards and use recirculating filtration technology to scrub the contaminated air and pass the clean air back in to the working environment.

Minimal installation is required. The unit operates on standard mains electricity (230v) on a Plug and Play basis. Each unit is constructed for maximum energy efficiency and utilises digital low noise, low energy fans along with internal LED lighting. There are several optional extra’s such as removable, cleanable spillage tray. The FC5 is a compact system able to act as a bench top fume cabinet or there is options for a dedicated base stand.

There are multiple filter options (sold separately) so it can be matched to your application, including various carbon filter options for most chemical vapours and fumes and HEPA Particulates. But as part of our commitment to quality and safety, we ask that you detail the chemicals to be used in the cabinet before shipping, we can check that the carbon and/or filters are correctly selected for your application.

To ensure the cabinet is operating in optimal conditions, the unit is provided with an audible and visual low airflow alarm to alert the user to maintenance requirements. In addition, four clear sides and an overhead LED light ensure maximum illumination of the working area.

The FC5 models (when using correct filters) comply with HSE and COSHH requirements for controlling airborne contaminants in the work place.
