Datasheet:
Wet collection systems are mandated by NFPA Standard 484 for the effective and safe extraction and capture of potentially explosive metal dusts. These controls are also often stipulated and required under the Dangerous Substances and Explosive Atmosphere Regulations, ATEX 95 and COSHH.
Wet systems utilise a turbulent water bath to scrub the air for the hazardous metal dusts such as Aluminium, Magnesium, Titanium, Zirconium, Lithium and Tantalum. Typical applications that can generate this life threatening dust include, but not limited to: polishing, grinding, cutting, linishing and de-burring. Our wet collectors can be connected to centralised extraction systems and collect from benches, dust control booths, on tool, collection hoods and bins and many more.
If you don’t have a suitable extraction system in place we are here to help. Extracting and filtering such dangerous dusts is a worrying task for many employers. At VODEX we are well trained in helping you handle this life threatening danger effectively, safely and cost effectively, whilst maintaining adherence to the required directives and laws.
We offer the complete service for wet collection including the filtration unit, ducting, installation, commissioning and certification as per COSHH Section 9.
