BOFA’s DustPRO Universal Extraction System is a high capacity, stand alone extraction system that has been developed for the safe and effective removal of many types dusts, swarf, shavings and similar dust particulates during processes such as routing, engraving, grinding and podiatry treatments.

Many processes produce dust and many processes produce this dust forcefully (think cutting wood with a power tool – dust gets flung all over). With low pressure dust extraction units this “energised” dust can often escape the air stream before it is extracted. The BOFA DustPRO Universal over comes this issue by using a high pressure, brushless motor producing 96mbar (9,600 pascals) of pressure at 285 cubic meters per hour of air flow.

This high performance is combined with an 18 litre high efficiency, reusable dust bag and a HEPA grade filter – giving the BOFA DustPRO Universal an effective filtration efficiency of 99.997% down to 0.3 microns and one of the best in-class capture profiles.

One of the main problems with other extraction relates to the type of pump used. Most have brushed motors which are noisy in operation and frequently burn out, with the average life of brushes being around 800 hours. The DustPRO Universal uses a brushless motor that is designed for continuous running with minimum 30,000 hours use before servicing. This reduces maintenance costs and break downs, increasing your value for money.
