How to Apply A40 ESD Acrylic Paint

A40 is a single part, water based static dissipative acrylic paint. it is a high specification method of grounding personnel and preventing static build up at an inexpensive price.

A40 Acrylic ESD Floor Paint has excellent chemical resistance, can easily be cleaned and is highly durable. The paint has an attractive Satin finish and is available in several colours.

A40 ESD Floor Paint is user friendly and is ready to use in a single paint pack that is very easy to apply. A thorough stirring of the paint in the tin prior to applying is all that is needed. The paint can be applied with a brush or a roller and can be cleaned off with warm water.

Two coats are required and should be applied over a solid, sealed floor, free from dirt, oil and grease and lose particles.

We strongly recommend that the EM367 primer is to be applied to the floor prior to the A40 paint being applied to ensure optimum results.

However, it is essential that EM637 primer be applied over bare concrete.

A40 paint is available in the following colours:

• Light Grey – RAL 7004 (Standard)
• Red – RAL 3011**
• Blue – RAL 5002**
• Green – RAL 6002**
• Yellow – RAL 1023 **

We recommend ESD Flooring products be used as part of a larger Static Control Strategy.

** There is a minimum order quantity of x2 Tins (10 Litres), for all colours apart from the Standard Light Grey)
